Organic food
The reasons of a choice In our Kindergarten we believe that proper nutrition together with pedagogical activities constitutes an important ingredient in the growth of the child. For this reason we offer organic menus every day for children under one year old. For the other children we have created, unique in Vicenza, the ORGANIC FRIDAYS. Every Friday children are offered food prepared exclusively with ingredients from organic farming in order to offer our little guests and families an ever better and quality service. This project was carried out together with the Biosapori shop in Vicenza which assisted us in preparing the menus, allowing us to always have fresh food. The choice of offering food from organic farming on a weekly basis is linked to the need to guarantee children a healthy and balanced menu and diet. Products from organic farming offer high quality and food safety, and guarantee the absence of residues of foreign substances together with a more genuine taste. This last point is fundamental for a kindergarten which among its tasks, in fact, has that of educating to the tastes of various foods, to respect for nature, for animals and for the world around us. Organic food However, it would be reductive to consider organic farming only from the point of view, albeit fundamental, of food safety. By not using fertilizers, pesticides and other substances harmful to the environment, restoring elements of naturalness (hedges, groves, ponds) and respecting a correct relationship between surfaces and livestock, organic farms are committed to avoiding pollution of the soil and aquifers aquifers. In our opinion, therefore, organic farming not only brings good and healthy products to the shelves of the points of sale, but improves the environmental situation of the territory in which it is practiced. I Perchè di una scelta
Nel nostro Asilo riteniamo che una corretta alimentazione costituisca insieme alle attività pedagogiche un ingrediente importante nella crescita del bambino. Per questo motivo proponiamo per i bimbi con meno di un anno menu' biologici tutti i giorni. Per gli altri bimbi abbiamo ideato, unici a Vicenza, i VENERDI' BIO. Ogni Venerdì ai bambini vengono proposti alimenti preparati esclusivamente con ingredienti provenienti da Agricoltura Biologica nell'intento di offrire ai nostri piccoli ospiti e alle famiglie un servizio sempre migliore e di qualità.
Questo progetto è stato realizzato insieme al negozio Biosapori di Vicenza che ci ha assistito nella predisposizione dei menù permettendoci di avere cibi sempre freschi.
La scelta di proporre settimanalmente alimenti provenienti da agricoltura biologica è legata alla necessità di garantire ai piccoli un menù ed un’alimentazione sana ed equilibrata. I prodotti provenienti da agricoltura biologica offrono un’elevata qualità e sicurezza alimentare, e garantiscono l’assenza di residui di sostanze estranee insieme ad un gusto più genuino. Quest'ultimo punto poi è fondamentale per un asilo che fra i propri compiti, appunto, ha quello di educare ai gusti dei vari alimenti, al rispetto per la natura, per gli animali e per il mondo che ci circonda.

Sarebbe riduttivo però considerare l'agricoltura biologica solo dal punto di vista, pur fondamentale, della sicurezza alimentare. Non utilizzando fertilizzanti, antiparassitari e altre sostanze nocive per l'ambiente, ripristinando elementi di naturalità (siepi, boschetti, stagni) e rispettando un corretto rapporto tra superfici e capi allevati, le aziende biologiche sono impegnate nell'evitare inquinamento del suolo e delle falde acquifere.
A nostro avviso, quindi, l'agricoltura biologica non porta solo prodotti buoni e sani negli scaffali dei punti vendita, ma migliora la situazione ambientale del territorio in cui è praticata.
